I See The Future, And What Do I See?
Dec. 13th, 2008 01:14 pmIt is very important that you watch this. It is one of the weirdest videogame moments I have ever come across, from the third Ratchet and Clank game. It is a robotic version of Britney Spears singing about the robot revolution. It contains the lyrics 'Don't stop until we dominate; won't you feel great/When we exterminate all organic life?' It is also ridiculously catchy.
Also, here is a trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, a game that - I think this is right - is to be set in the same world as Final Fantasy XIII but otherwise unconnected. I don't know about you, but I think it looks freaking awesome. A little short on women, perhaps, but it looks as if XIII itself may be largely dominated by female characters, so perhaps they'll balance each other.
(I feel like the most ridiculous person ever for getting an icon of a game that hasn't even been released in Japan yet. YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT, RIONA. YOU MIGHT NOT EVEN LIKE THE CHARACTER. But it's so pretty!
...I suppose I no longer have the right to mock people who write fanfiction before a game exists in playable form anywhere, then. Although I still don't understand how that works. 'The girl with pink hair caught sight of that red-haired girl with pigtails. She said, "Hey, [insert Pigtail Girl's name here]!", assuming that she knew Pigtail Girl's name and it was appropriate to her character to greet Pigtail Girl in such a way. Pigtail Girl acknowledged her in a character-appropriate manner, unless she was more likely to ignore her, in which case I suppose she ignored her.')
The night before last, I dreamt that
reipan was Gretchen from Prison Break. She shot me four times. YOU'RE A RUBBISH FRIEND,
reipan.
