Now We Know That Life Will Change.

It's been a strange year, but that's no excuse not to have the traditional annual bad Christmas manip.

While this is, of course, still bad on account of limited skills and an oversensitive trackpad, I did put a bit more effort than usual into it. It's 2020 and I'm in lockdown; what else am I going to do with my time? (I also felt sort of compelled to put effort into my terrible manip for Persona 5, given the phenomenal amount of effort that went into every single visual element of that game.)




Merry Christmas to everyone who's celebrating it, whatever form your celebrations may take this year! I wish you all a better 2021.

I'm so glad you're playing the Persona games; I never thought you'd pick them up but I thought they'd be up your street! (I hope you also play Persona 3 and maybe fall down the SMT rabbit hole as well - I think you'd find Digital Devil Saga at least interesting!)

Persona 3 FES is available for PS3, I think, so I'll probably pick it up! (Although I've heard you can't form social links with male party members; boooooo.)

Oh, please do! The QOL is a large step down from the later games in the series, but in terms of plot and characterisation, it's my absolute favourite of the franchise.

Bwa ha! I love that manip. And what a fun tradition! If I get a spare enough moment over the next few days, I think I just might spend it trawling through your manips from previous Christmases! I'm so curious as to which other characters you've put a Santa hat (or other festive garb) on.

It's been such a pleasure to get to know you! I've been running to your journal straight after every new Higurashi Gou episode to see your thoughts on it.

There are a few 2021 releases I'm interested in checking out: Bravely Default II, NEO: The World Ends with You, Horizon Forbidden West and the full version of World's End Club (I hear they released an incomplete version for mobile devices first, and they're releasing the full version on Switch next year? Very odd). What are you looking forward to?

I'm so glad you've been enthusiastically reading my posts on Higurashi Gou! but also, I'm awfully sorry that I haven't posted about it for a while! My entry on Episodes Twelve and Thirteen is decidedly forthcoming, I do promise - I'm proofreading it in another tab as we speak!

I could not be more excited for World's End Club than I currently am! and would have played the incomplete version on my mobile by now, were my mobile not a fossil physically incapable of running any game or app released post-2017. As it is, I can only wait for the Switch version, and continue to avoid spoilers all the while.

The upcoming release of NEO: TWEWY is exactly the incentive I need to finally play the original TWEWY game, which has been sitting unplayed on my games shelf for far too long. I'm also planning to play the Kingdom Hearts games next year, which I hear feature cameos from certain TWEWY characters? There's going to be a lot of TWEWY in my 2021!

Other 2021 releases I'm looking forward to are Gnosia, Shin Megami Tensei V, and, if it ends up getting released next year, Tribe Nine!
