I have now listened to the Merlin cast commentary on 'The Moment of Truth' and am sorely disappointed that there are not more Bradley/Colin/Angel/Katie commentaries, because they make a rather marvellous team. They all talk about how rubbish Merlin is, and how he could clearly have prevented terrible events, and Colin just sits there going 'THANKS, GUYS'. Also, Angel and Katie are massive slashers, which pleases me. Colin was forced at one point to tell them off for encouraging websites. In fact, you can hear it yourself!

(A bit that isn't in that video: when Arthur and Merlin are preparing to go into battle, the girls demand 'Come on, is that it?' in what I presume is an objection to the lack of manly hugging. I strongly sympathise.)

Then I watched Colin Morgan's video diary, and within the first minute I had squealed a loud and delighted 'DOOOOOOORKS' at Colin and Bradley ('I like the way you're dedicating yourself to this role. He's actually physically learnt magic') and then very nearly passed out with glee when they began jokingly flirting. Quite a few of the following minutes were spent giggling helplessly at what an absolute lunatic Bradley James is. The mere sight of Bradley's face is now enough to make me crack up laughing. I am not sure of how this will impact on my enjoyment of Merlin. Also, Colin is adorable.

Oh, dear, I think I am in love with this cast. (They make fun of each other all the time! It is my favourite sort of interaction!) It is but a short step from here to writing fanfiction.

It is an even shorter step from here to reading fanfiction.

Anyone got any Merlin RPF recs? (Thank you so much for your Merlin recs in my entry of a few days ago; I have been enjoying them enormously. There is clearly a lot of amazing writing in this fandom.)
