So many videogames contain useful fic research details like maps by default! It's always disconcerting when I'm writing for a different medium and suddenly realise I have no idea how a significant location is laid out. When I was writing for Severance in February, double-checking where the office's storage closet was located was a real challenge! When I was writing for Danganronpa 2 three weeks ago, I Googled 'danganronpa 2 hotel map' and established how the characters' cabins were laid out in seconds.
sometimes you get things like that guy who offered Spider-Man free hot dogs for life after Spider-Man saved his life, and now he's halfway regretting it because Spider-Man shows up for a hot dog nearly every day and he's chatty.
This is absolutely beautiful.
"Guy who was raised to be a complete asshole stumbling his way towards becoming less of an asshole, even if he doesn't know how to be genuinely not an asshole"
I do like this, come to think of it! It's a shame that Pierce never really clicked for me (whereas Jeff was a perfect 'stumbling his way towards being less of an asshole' character and I adored him).
